ART:                             Make a fox from brown construction paper.  Buttons for eyes,

SOCIAL STUDIES:    BIG BOOK 4:   Lesson on Cooperation
                                      Group children into pairs. Ask each child to glue his elbow to
                                      his partners elbow by interlocking them. Encourage the partners
                                       to keep their elbows attached while attempting to perform a
                                       task such as bouncing a ball across the room.  After students
                                       have had time to experience success (or frustration) with the task
                                       have students discuss ways they tried to succeed. They have to
                                       work together.
 
SCIENCE:                 (Continue to study manmals) and introduce “Birds”                                  
 
BIBLE STORIES:     Read a Bible story to the children.                         
 
DISMISSAL:            Get folders, lunch boxes and put into backpacks .  Make sure
                                   that all their things are put away , their places are clean, and
                                   chairs are put on top of table.  
 
Be sure and work on your Valentine Box at home with your parents.  We are going to
judge them.   Our party will be on Feb.10th , at 2:30.
