Fourth Grade Science- Physics of Sound

Objective: To discover the nature of sounds; how sounds are generated; how sounds travel

The class will perform four investigations this week tying together the following: sound discrimination; developing drop codes to create words; using a tuning fork, long gong, and sound generator; building a door fiddle; the sources and receivers of sound.

Homework: Assigned Monday, August 30, due Wednesday, September 1; List five sounds you encounter after leaving school and identify their meanings/ purpose.

Thurs- Read Story and Study vocab.

Fri- Reading Comprehension Test; Spelling Test; Grammar test
